Wastewater Plasmalyzer®

hexagon header schmutzwasser plasmalyse

Wastewater from treatment plants, biogas plants or industrial plants contains a high concentration of valuable nitrogen and carbon compounds. In the Plasmalyzer®, a high-frequency voltage field is generated from solar or wind energy. It splits the carbon and nitrogen compounds contained in the water (such as urea, amino acids, nitrates and ammonium) into individual C, N, H and O atoms. These then recombine to produce green hydrogen, methane and nitrogen. Purified water remains as production “waste.” The gases are then separated using our membrane technology and stored for further use in gas containers.
